Weekend of Family Creativity

This past weekend, our family strings group, Prairie Strings, had the opportunity to provide dinner music for the annual Callaway Hospital Foundation’s Ball. Oh! What fun for me! I love playing music with Joey and the kids.

We enjoyed a yummy steak dinner, a really funny (and clean!) comedian and a couple minutes of dancing before we headed home to relieve fabulous Sheree of her child care responsibilities.

The next day, after church, we headed over to the art gallery at Comstock to see how our entries fared in the recent contest. I managed to get a few of the entrants to pose by their entries, but Levi was working and somehow I missed Eleanor…so consider this a sampling.

(That’s Levi’s rooster…sans Levi.)

(And Clara is standing by her rooster, too.)

It’s so fun to be a part of this creative family!

Besides all the awesome art, I am also impressed by the tiny coke machine on top of Jacob’s head…
